Website Deployment in Kerala & India
Secure hosting, domains, SSL and go-live support for your website or app.
Scope of work
What's included in Website Deployment
Every engagement starts with a written scope, so you know exactly what you are getting, who you are working with and what it costs.
- Hosting and domain setup
- SSL and security headers
- CDN and caching
- Email and DNS configuration
- Staging and production workflows
- Go-live checklist
Launching safely, not just quickly
Putting a website online sounds simple, yet many launches go wrong in familiar ways: the site goes down during a DNS change, email stops working, search rankings drop because redirects were forgotten, or a test version is accidentally left visible to search engines. A careful deployment avoids all of these. We handle the technical steps so your launch day is uneventful.
Choosing hosting
Hosting should match the project, not the other way around. Shared hosting suits small, low-traffic brochure sites. Managed WordPress hosting suits content sites that need speed and updates handled for you. A virtual private server or cloud instance suits custom applications and gives you control. Platform services and static hosting suit modern front-end projects that deploy directly from a repository. We compare options on performance, location, security, backup features, support quality and total cost, and recommend a provider close to your audience, which matters for speed.
Domains and DNS
Your domain is a valuable asset, and it should be registered in your name with your own login. We help you register or transfer domains, configure DNS records for the website, email and verification services, set sensible TTL values before changes and keep a record of every setting. We also check renewal dates and enable auto-renewal and registrar locking to avoid accidental loss.
SSL, HTTPS and security headers
Browsers mark sites without HTTPS as not secure, and search engines treat HTTPS as a baseline expectation. We install and automate certificate renewal, force HTTPS with correct redirects, enable HTTP Strict Transport Security where appropriate and add security headers such as content security policy, frame protection and referrer policy to reduce common attack risks.
Email and deliverability
Business email needs correct MX records along with SPF, DKIM and DMARC authentication so messages reach inboxes rather than spam folders. We set these up whether you use Google Workspace, Microsoft 365 or another provider, and we test deliverability before launch.
Performance, CDN and caching
We configure server compression, browser caching, image optimisation and, when it benefits your audience, a content delivery network that serves files from locations near your visitors. This helps loading speed and protects against traffic spikes.
Staging and production workflows
Changes should be tested somewhere safe. We set up a staging environment that mirrors production, protect it from search engines and public access, and define how changes move live, ideally through version control and automated deployment with an easy rollback path.
The go-live checklist
- Remove noindex tags and password protection from the live site.
- Confirm robots.txt and the XML sitemap are correct and submitted to Search Console.
- Verify canonical tags, redirects from old URLs and that no broken links remain.
- Test forms, payments, tracking and email notifications end to end.
- Check mobile layout, speed and accessibility on real devices.
- Confirm backups are running and monitoring is active.
- Record credentials and settings in a secure handover document.
Migrating an existing site
When moving a live website, preserving search visibility is critical. We map every old URL to its new equivalent with 301 redirects, keep content and metadata consistent, avoid downtime by testing on the new server before switching DNS, and monitor Search Console afterwards for crawl errors.
After launch
For the first days after launch, we monitor uptime, errors and indexing and fix issues quickly. We can then continue with hosting management, updates, backups and performance reviews if you want ongoing support.
Cost and timeline
Deployment work is quoted after a written scope. Straightforward launches often take a day or two, while migrations with email and many redirects take longer. Hosting and domain fees are paid directly by you to the providers, so you retain ownership.

Common mistakes to avoid
- Registering the domain in a developer's name. You must be the legal owner and hold the login.
- Forgetting redirects. Old URLs that return errors waste hard-earned rankings.
- Leaving the staging site indexable. Duplicate versions confuse search engines.
- Changing DNS without lowering TTL or planning email. This causes avoidable downtime.
- Launching on a Friday evening. Choose a time when support is available if something fails.
