Games with a clear scope
Games are among the easiest products to start and the hardest to finish. Ambitious ideas grow, features multiply and projects stall. Our game development service concentrates on casual, educational and web-based games with a defined scope, where a small, polished experience beats an unfinished large one. We agree what the first playable version contains before any code is written.
Types of games we build
- Casual and hyper-casual games: simple mechanics, quick sessions and easy learning.
- Browser games: playable instantly from a link, with nothing to install.
- Educational and training games: quizzes, simulations and gamified lessons for schools, courses and onboarding.
- Brand and marketing games: interactive campaigns, contests and promotional experiences.
- Mobile games for Android and iOS built with cross-platform engines.
Engines and technology
We select tools to suit the game. Unity and Godot cover 2D and 3D games across mobile and desktop, Phaser and similar JavaScript frameworks suit lightweight browser games and React-based interfaces work well for puzzle, quiz and card experiences. We also build backends for scoreboards, accounts, multiplayer features and analytics when the design needs them.
Design before development
We write a short game design document covering the core loop, rules, progression, difficulty, art direction and monetisation approach. We build a rough prototype early to check that the basic mechanic is enjoyable, because it is far cheaper to discover that a loop is dull in week one than in month four.
Art, audio and polish
Feel matters as much as rules: responsive controls, clear feedback, satisfying animation and sound. We can use your existing artwork, commission or adapt licensed assets, and ensure licences allow commercial use. Small touches such as particle effects, screen shake and sound cues often decide whether a simple game feels good.
Performance and devices
Games must run smoothly on typical hardware. We optimise asset sizes, loading times, memory and battery use, and test on lower-end Android phones common in India as well as on modern devices and various browsers.
Monetisation
Options include paid downloads, advertising, in-app purchases, sponsorship and using the game as marketing. We choose a model that fits the audience and avoid manipulative designs, especially in games for children. Ad networks and app stores have policy requirements, and we build to meet them.
Children and privacy
If a game targets or may attract children, special rules apply to data collection, advertising and in-app purchases, such as COPPA in the United States and similar protections elsewhere. We design to minimise data collection and advise you to take legal guidance for children's products.
Testing and analytics
We test gameplay, balance and device compatibility, gather feedback from real players and add analytics to see where players leave. This guides improvements and updates after launch.
Publishing and discovery
We prepare store listings, screenshots and descriptions, and handle submission to Google Play and the App Store or deployment of browser games. For web games, we also set up a landing page optimised for search and shareable social previews.
Cost and timeline
Projects are quoted after a written scope that defines levels, features, art and platforms. A small casual game can be built in weeks, while richer games take longer. We favour staged milestones so you can play the game as it develops.

Common mistakes to avoid
- Scope creep. Each new feature adds testing, art and bugs. Define a first release and protect it.
- Building before testing the fun. A rough prototype should prove the core loop is enjoyable before art and polish are added.
- Ignoring low-end devices. A game that stutters on a mid-range phone loses most of its potential audience.
- Aggressive monetisation. Constant ads or pressure to buy drive players away and attract negative reviews.
- Using assets without checking licences. Unlicensed art, music or fonts can lead to takedowns.
Questions to ask a game developer
What will the first playable version include and by when? Which devices will you test on? Who owns the code and artwork? How will players give feedback? Clear answers help keep a project on track.
